Me and my best friend had a rant about this on the phone before, and I’ve just seen more of it, so it’s really starting to wind me up! 
Some people in the world seem to genuinely imagine English people to wear top hats and drink tea all the time, and say words like “Quite” and “Cheerio”.
I’ve never said cheerio in serious context and I DON’T EVEN LIKE TEA!
It gets on my nerves, especially when people say things like “Oh you’re from England? Oh I love people from London” the fuck? I live nowhere near London.
That’s like me saying “Oh you’re from America, I love people from California!” no, I’m not that ignorant.
This really winds me up.
